    POSITVE BEHAVIOURAL & INTERVENTION SUPPORTS (PBIS) PBIS is a whole- school approach where both systemic and individualized strategies are practiced to encourage positive behaviours moment by moment, working towards achieving academic and behaviour success. Schoolwide expectations are practiced, modelled and reinforced by all staff then reviewed upon dependant on the data collected. The experience by both students and staff are evaluated and reflected to best support school team’s coaching and decision-making. PBIS evidence-based approach is based on a multi-tiered continuum where practices are selected based on the level of support needed. PBIS in implementation in classrooms focus on practices, data and systems to foster positive classroom behaviour support and proactive classroom management.
